Our very own Curvy Queens class is designed for all our women who consider themselves to be curvy in one shape or another. Despite our own self doubt and concerns, this class is full of like minded ladies who are out to live their best Queen life and exercise while doing it.

As a curvy lady, we have a lot similar thoughts running through our minds, but you are definitely not alone.

Thought: The pole won’t hold my weight. YES, it will! Our 4m tall Brass poles are reinforced with steel poles. They aren’t moving for anyone unless we tell them to (aka. Spin!)

Thought: What if people judge me? Our women naturally encourage each other and celebrate our wins and struggles together, not just in our Curvy Queens course, but studio wide.

Thought: I’m not strong enough, I’m just too big. Queen, we got you! You have the right amount of strength to start … and we will help you to build more! Join our empire and let us show you how strong you really are.

Sexy comes in all shapes and sizes and Pole Dancing is the perfect all over body workout that you will actually enjoy, we have plenty of fun, you won’t even know you are working out!

In our Curvy Queens class, we focus our attention on helping women to get healthier, happier and stronger through Pole Fitness. Our Curvy Queens learn how to not only strengthening their core, but also to become more in-tune with their bodies to help them on their fitness journey.When you build strength, you also increase your range of motion and flexibility, which in turn works to prevent injuries - in both fitness and in every day life. Curvy Queens is unlike any other Group Fitness class on the Gold Coast, our Curvy Queens are a welcoming group of ladies that are often seen socialising outside of pole, watch our Instagram and you might even spot one of them on a sign pole at Dreamworld (“poling in the wild” as we call it!)

Curvy Queens is run as a Course for the term, meaning there is no drop-in attendance for this class, we keep the group to under eight ladies per class so you get a chance for 1:1 time with your instructor and personalise your experience to your body and needs. Every week we work on foundation tricks as our conditioning and strength building, before we move onto building our confidence in our climbs, pole sits and spins; but don’t worry there is time for drink breaks and a good daily dose of a giggle with our pole sisters.

On top of the fitness and fun in this class, you will get to put all your new found tricks and transitions into a choreographed routine by your instructor!

The hardest part is opening that line of communication with us, so we have tried to offer a few options to hopefully calm your nerves and give you a safe environment to come and try Pole Dancing on the Gold Coast:
